Our Ministry to the COmmunity
132 House of Prayer (HOP) is a prayer ministry serving the Lubbock/West Texas area. We provide the Church with a regional place of corporate prayer. Our desire is for people to remain involved in their local church while participating in weekly prayer meetings here at 132 HOP.
Our vision is to host the presence of God through Worship & Prayer with believers from across the region… to create a place for the Lord to dwell continually.
What is a house of prayer?
The house of prayer is a place of encounter with God (dwelling place), created by the vehicle of worship, prayer, and intercession. From this place of encounter, the kingdom of God is released into our city. Jesus said, “My house will be a house of prayer, for all nations.” [Mark 11:17]
What do you do in a house of prayer?
While in the prayer room, feel free to join in with corporate Prayer & Worship, read your Bible, or write in your journal. We provide communion elements for a time of personal communion.
Our Story
January 2021 a small group of dedicated intercessors began gathering to contend to see a move of God in Lubbock, Texas.
As a result, 132 House of Prayer was birthed. We exist to host the presence of God through Worship & Prayer. We invite you to come to join us at any of our prayer sets.
Ministering to the Lord
We take time daily to minister to God and worship Him because He is worthy of it all. We are dedicated to an audience of One. He is worthy of our time, our songs, and our prayers and we offer ourselves to Him each day, no matter how many might be in the room.
