Interested in serving on a prayer set?
The vision of 132 House of Prayer is centered on creating a dwelling place for the Lord by becoming a people who return daily before Him with thanksgiving, worship, and intercession. As the Bride of Christ, we set Him as our First Love and restore the Levitical call of continual ministry to the Lord. We join Christ as He intercedes and partner with Him as He prays the will of the Father over our city and the nations.
Our musicians and prayer leaders serve together to steward an atmosphere where the Lord is welcomed, honored, and ministered to, cultivating a resting place for His presence.
If you would like to learn more about what it means to walk in the Levitical calling, interceding from the Father’s heart and ministering to Him daily, we invite you to join a weekly prayer team. This is an opportunity to grow alongside believers who share this vision, building community as the full Body of Christ and establishing a dwelling place for the Lord together.
practicals in serving in the prayer room
We have found there is a beautiful depth of learning that happens in a committed group of people who gather each week. Due to this, we ask our prayer team volunteers to make a three month quarterly commitment, attending their team’s set each week.
Our Prayer Teams arrive 15 minutes before prayer set begins (pre-brief), and stay for 30 minutes afterward (post-brief).
For example, a Friday team commitment would look like:
5:45-6:00pm - Pre-Brief Discussion
6:00-8:00pm - Prayer Set
8:00-8:30pm - Post-Brief Discussion
